African concepts

The Taxi door and Pan-africanism

Today i have dedicated this blog to Why i love to be an African. I will look at this example.
I was travelling back home in a taxi on Sunday and the Taxi tout was going about with his brisk business of Pulling and Pushing his door. You know first of all i admire these guys. they are small in size and always seem to squeeze just beside the front of the taxi.
This time the boy was having some difficulty opening the door and by the time it was half way the journey, the door could only shut half way. i was laughing(U know i love the back sit-where i can view proceedings)

I reached destination and disembarked. Hardly had the Taxi moved 5 metres, than the door came down.my God, the crash was loud. Now me i sat and Laughed.
U know that is because most africans like using things but not servicing them at old- Milking a cow with out feeding it. I should be forgiven for laughing but it was hilarious. the conductor, the door, the driver, the passengers...

A case for Pan-Africanism
On a sad note
Reading through the news papers i was almost brought to tears but at the end the speech i realised nothing could have changed who we are and that is just that. the Black man will survive.
out on a sad note. Please read the Hyperlink and give me some comments.

Why still love staying in Africa

Weekend Tidings

I am surely convinced that there is some thing wrong in this country. For this Reason
The rain has been coming down like never before. Infact as i type this the rain is still falling. but for one reason or another, this rain never allows me to enjoy the benefits that coe with it.

It starts falling at about 6.30 when i am planning to wake up. Why doesnt it approach Midnight and then comes down so that i can get that much needed sleep.

Electricity: Now the water Level in the Lake Victoria must surely have risen . But how comes th eLoad Shedding Time table is not being Revised . Which Leads me to think that these guys must be Siphoning the Fuel To some unknown Location but using my detective skills, i will soon publish my findings.

Tear Gas: After being at University, the one thing i hardly expected was to get a jet of some Cute poison (as i prefer to call it) down my nostrils but thanks to uganda Police they seem to Love the Gas. Let me Confess that Teargas brings memories flooding in to my mind. I will not forget the Battles on Nkrumah Road(the road Adjacent my hall of Residence) Those are some moments i remember and will always remember.

Football: i went to a Make Shift Video hall to watch a football match So i managed to catch Man U and Arsenal at the same time cause they had two TV screens. Then half way the guy puts something like Mummy 7 the movie was translated. couldnt believe my mind was swayed to the movie but that surely summarises the burning event i had on my mind

Idle Views

It is 4:01 and its a very warm office im sitting in
all AC's blarring but no one seems to be minding
Funny though it has been Raining After a minimum of every 4 hours in Kampala
This dampens spirits. I have gotten this love for Novels lately
Ive never really been a novel person (may be it is changing times.)
the only +ve from all this rain is Grass hoppers. The local s love munching insects. Nowhere have i seen the love for Grasshoppers than here in Kla City.
One Amusing thing happened to me yesterday. i heard some one playing Christmas carols. Hmmmm
First thing to my attention was Christmas Lunch ..
"Feliz navida os pero wana felisida- i wana wish u a merry christmas"
Sorry - was just reminensing
From Iddi to Christmas
All functions have food to bind the population together
Definately i have zeroed down the binding factor to all my gatherings here in Africa to be food.
"A soldier eateth where he worketh style"

There is a major Factor
